What we believe

Core Beliefs

We believe that our core mission is to love the world as God has loved the world (1 John 3:16; John 3:16), and to make disciples of all nations (Matthew 28:19-20).

We believe that our goal is to live a life worthy of the calling we have received through Jesus Christ - to be completely humble, gentle, patient, bearing with one another in love, and making every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace

(Ephesians 4:1-5)

God

We believe in the one true God of the Bible, the Creator of the universe (Genesis 1:1), who lives and manifests Himself as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 8:6; 1 Peter 1:1-2).

Jesus Christ

We believe that Jesus is Deity, and one with the Father (Colossians 2:9; John 1:1-4); He came to Earth to save us from the sin that separates us from our Creator (God); He accomplished this by dying on a cross for our sins, being buried, and then being raised from the dead to reign in eternity with the Father (1 Corinthians 15:3-8)

The Holy Spirit

We believe that the Holy Spirit is God who personally dwells within believers to empower them to be transformed into Christ-likeness (Ephesians 1:13-14; Romans 8:9-11).

The Bible

We believe that the Bible is the infallible, inspired Word of God and is the ultimate authority in our lives (2 Timothy 3:16-17).

The Church

We believe that Christ's church, also known as the body of Christ, exists to proclaim the good news of Jesus Christ and to perform Godly works of service to a world separated from God and hurting because of sin (Ephesians 4:10-13). The church is comprised of those who have been united with Christ through immersion baptism as a response of faith in Jesus as Lord (Acts 2:38; Galatians 3:23-29; Ephesians 4:1-6).

Salvation

We believe that salvation (being forgiven of sin and living with God) is found only through a relationship with Jesus Christ (John 14:6). Salvation is a grace gift from God to those who put their faith in Jesus, are united with Jesus through immersion baptism and continue to live as disciples (followers) of Jesus (Romans 6:1-11).
